DJ Loonyo, or Rhemuel Lunio in real life, has indeed come a long way from a hit social media personality to a certified recording artist. 

A Cagayan de Oro City native, DJ Loonyo started his career as a competitive dancer, a choreographer and a club DJ — hence, his monicker. But it was during the pandemic when he posted inspiring dance videos such as the top trend "#FrontlinersDanceChallenge" which spurred millions of likes and shares that led to new opportunities for him particularly in television and music.

Since then, he has been a sought-after performer on various musical-variety programs and tv shows.
